Just another family we met at Disney!

We had a fun time and would have loved to stay longer but all things must come to an end. Although I lost our return tickets for the fight back somewhere between Security and the airplane in Portland we were able to return home safely. We are already planning our next trip.

We went to Almaleas Dance studio for thier Halloween party and had a great time. Willaim bobbed for an apple and Won first prize for snatching an apple in just 3 seconds( the stem was very long).

Fall Fun was had by all at our October party this year. We even made the Clarisse , Kathy Sam and Carol dig for thier gifts in the hay stack ( I think Aunt Cherly's is still in thier somewhere). Don't worry though, I will think of a new creative way to stash the presents for next year. We hope everyone had fun and were glad that Uncle Shawn came home from Hong Kong so he could be part of the fun. Until next year. JJAWD

Fall Fun

The fall is a fun time of year because we get to pick apples and pumpkins and we always get excited to dress up. William is practicing his mean pirate lookso he can scare Micky Mouse when we go to Disney in November. He is pretty scary eh!

As you can see Snorter is enjoying his new pen. Adeline was lucky enough to be one out of fifteen kids to catch one of the two pigs at the Topsham fair at the begining of August.

Summer Fun

We have just been having so much fun this summer. Recently we all went to the Beach down in Harpswell across from Estes Lobster House and then built a pig pen for Snorter and went to Head Beach down at Hermit Island. It's been nice to get out in the fesh air after all the rain we had in August. Sadly the summer is almost over and Adeline and William will be going to school on September 1st. William will start preschool K-3 and Adline will go to K-5 or what is considered Kindergarten. How the time flies. We hope everyone enjoyed thier summer as much as we did. The biggest and most exciting thing that we did was have Dylan join our family.

The Topsham Fair

The Dolley Family had a great time at the Topsham Fair this year and we even added another member to our family. Snorter the pig which Adeline captured at the pig scramble. Thier were fifteen kids and two piglets and Adeline was quick enough to catch one. Thank goodness Adeline has a very loving Uncle Micheal and Aunt Clarisse who were willing to to keep an eye on Snorter until it's time to " Harvest the meat" as Adeline calls it this fall.

Big Boy Dylan

Dylan is quickly learning to hold up his head for extended periods of time so he decided he wanted to try out his Bumbo seat. What a big boy! If you look real close you will see his first tattoo.

A Day With Thomas

We spent Saturday Aug 2nd in Boothbay with Thomas the Train. Thank You Grammy Brown! Boy oh Boy! Did we have fun. We got to shake and dance and play percussion music, Dylan, mom and Adeline all got tattoos and we got to ride on the train pulled by Thomas himself. Dlyan had his first barrel, train and hay ride all in the same day. A super fun day was had by all.

Harpswell Festival

We enjoyed a beautiful sunny and breezy day at the Harpswell Festival. Adeline and William enjoyed decorating cupcakes and building. The adults enjoyed the lobster rolls, french fries, music and weather. Dylan slept through most of it but I 'm sure he enjoyed the fresh air.

Fun at LAke Saint George

We spent the day at Lake Saint George Saturday for Jeff's 20th Reunion Family Fun Day. Dylan dipped his foot in but didn't really enjoy it but Adeline and William couldn't get enough of the water or better yet the awesome playground. We all had fun and Jeff got to catch up with some of his former classmates.
